Creating employment is becoming a problem for the

government due to recession. While visiting United
States and  going thru the news papers I feel people

here has to do much  by themselves instead of

depending on the government and occasionally blaming
the government.

Further unless export substituion and exportable

products are  manufactured in US this recession cannot
be fought out.

While I toured US for a brief period I have scanned the economy partially and have found many items which can be manufactured and exported from USA giving the economy a boost. There are certain agricultural products which USA imports can not only grown locally but also can be exported. As agriculture is the base of any economy attention on the agri products is a must.

As regards animal husbandry some more thought needs to be given as life saving drugs can be made from some of the animal milk which will procure enough foreign exchange.

During my stay I have tried to motivate Americans to start venture with small capital. I have heard big big lectures but no one dared to start them. I even went to that extent taking risk to start units in their name. But no American came forward. I can sum up the reason as lack of motivation.

American NGO's need to work hand in gloves 365 days 24 hrs in this regard if they really want economy wheel to move again. Not just 2 hrs a week and citing family engagement but full time dedication is required to drive the wheel.

Since then I have returned to India and have been able to motivate young Indians to be self employed very easily. So American Government should try to change the mind set of the youngsters.

Here is story how I have worked so far in India.

The Project

As per my project plan there will be a mother unit. The income of the mother unit will be used to finance and meet the running expenses. Under the umbrella of mother unit there will be small units. These micro units will be allotted to young married couples.

Initial Capital will be provided from the income of the mother unit including the amount required to run the day to day expenses including sustenance for the couple.
Marketing will be done thro one point collectively. Here experienced salesman will be posted to help the products moving. A fully equipped sales office will be made available to these units whose entire expenses will be Bourne by the mother unit.
As regards production wife will be trained to manufacture. The items were selected by me already. These are those which we require for day to day living starting from food and ending at toiletry. As the production increases mechanization will be introduced in order to step up and reach the maximum production point. When the need arises external training will be given to increase the quality of the product.
The entire project will be for a period of 3 years. During this gestation period the husband will associate himself in the activity of marketing sales and other outside business related activity. On completion of the gestation period the progress of the unit will be evaluated. If it is found to be ready to become self supporting it will be handed over to the couple as its entrepreneur writing off all the investment.
During the period of three years all details of their work including accounts costing statistics, etc. will be under thorough scanner of mine. There will be an internal audit manned by experienced professionals who will try to find out if there is any loop holes and advise me the way to plug them in. Further every three months assessment will be made to find out the progress of the organization evaluated and proper corrective action suggested to me. The ultimate decision to implement will be in my responsibility as I need to assess other factors understanding the ability of the couple. If needed I will provide experienced professional to help them out.

As a start up I established a spices powder business and a management consultancy service as mother units. The income I have distributed as interest free loans to young couple in India who wanted to become self employed. I have tried to motivate young people not to leave India. Let us try and build our own country. If our parent generation could sacrifice their life to free India we must sacrifice ours to build India. I have been successful almost 70 % of the cases to give them income. Some failed to come up and I had to write off the amount as I felt the case was genuine.

The second phase of the project was to set up a village and put all the units in one place for better observation and guidance. I am working on it and will be able to convert a village into a training ground for future Indians.

Currently I am trying to encourage home stay in remote villages in north east India having picturecue neighbour hood. As a sample I have set up on model studio type with attached bath and a mini kitchen. Five people can stay comfortably.

Person interested in a tie up with poor villagers in setting up profitable homes can contact me.
